You have heard of Tai Chi but you’re not really sure it’s for you? Or you thought about joining a club or making a commitment to get up off the couch but you feel like you’re just too out of shape? Tai Chi may be the perfect fit for you because Tai Chi will meet you in this present moment, no matter what physical shape you are in! One of the best things about Tai Chi is that movements can be adapted to help enable recovery from illness or injury and it gives you a place to start and grow. NO special equipment is needed, just you. And you can do it anywhere! A new 6 week beginners class will be starting on Tuesday, April 21st. Spring is coming and this is a great way to try something new in a great studio space with a welcoming group of instructors and students. Tai Chi offers great health benefits – balance, strength, endurance, and stress reduction. The repetitive nature of learning the movements helps to quiet the mind and build the mind body connection. Some people say Tai Chi is too slow, but this slow movement builds resilience. This slow movement allows the body to become aware of stamina, mindfulness and coordination of hands, arms, and feet. Students find that coming to class builds confidence, a sense of calm and well being.
If you are looking for a new experience we hope that you will give our 6 week beginner class a try! Details of the class are below:
