Start Your New Year With A New Beginner Class!

Welcome to Tai Chi Revolution! With a new year starting, we are offering a new Tai Chi beginner class. Tai Chi is based on ancient Chinese practices that are meant to help improve balance, promote a sense of inner calmness (through moving meditation), and in the process help to increase your overall flexibility and stability. Tai Chi is for everyone, and our experienced instructors welcome anyone who is interested in trying out Tai Chi or returning to a regular practice. We are a welcoming, friendly club and we look forward meeting you in the new year! Details for joining the new beginner class are below:

What will I learn? This six week class will get you started on your Tai Chi practice by teaching you the fundamental movements of Tai Chi.  You will learn the first 17 movements of the 108 movement set with qualified and knowledgeable instructors.  You found our website – now we’d really like to meet you in person!

When:  Friday afternoons beginning on Friday, January 23, 2026 and running through February 27, 2026 (6 weeks).

Time:  12:45 – 2:15 pm

Cost: $60 (payable at the first class; cash or check (unfortunately we don’t take credit cards).

What to wear:  Comfortable and loose fitting clothing.  Shoes should be flat and enclose your entire foot with good support (something like sneakers or low hiking shoes).  Bare feet, crocs, flip flops or open toed sandals should not be worn.

MASKS ARE CURRENTLY NOT REQUIRED BUT… Our masking protocols are based on infection rates. Currently we do not require masks to be worn while in the studio. Having said that, we care about our students, members, and guests and are committed to protecting everyone’s health while in our class. If infection rates spike, we may reconsider the masking requirement. We appreciate your understanding.
