Tai Chi Revolution is offering a new “First 17” six week class! Come join the “Revolution”!!
We want you to FEEL GOOD at the end of your day! Work stress? Kids homework stress? Yard work stress? Thinking about the holidays already stress (say it isn’t so!). It’s so easy to get lost in all the things around us that need our attention that we sometimes forget to pay attention to our own health and well-being. The regular practice of Tai Chi has the following benefits:
Mind: memory retention, confidence, self control
Body: balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance
Spirit: patience, perseverance, respect
Tai Chi is a form of moving meditation that accomplishes multiple objectives at once: working on balance, posture, movement through space, calming your mind, and spending time with friendly welcoming people. Do any of the following describe you? We have an answer!!
- Never tried Tai Chi before but always wondered about it – this class is for you
- Practiced Tai Chi but fell out of the routine and want a quick brush up to motivate you to pick it back up again – this class is for you
- Looking for a way to shed the stress of your day – this class is for you
- Currently practice Tai Chi and wondering how to help support new students – you guessed it… come to this class and cheer on new students!
Our studio is large, open, well lit and has off street parking.
This six week class will teach you the fundamental movements of Tai Chi. You will learn the first 17 movements of the 108 movement set with qualified and knowledgeable instructors. You found our website – now we’d really like to meet you in person!
When: Tuesday nights beginning on September 17, 2019 and running through October 22nd (6 weeks)
Time: 6:00 – 7:30pm
Location: Tai Chi Revolution Studio located at 2817 James Street, corner of James and North Edwards Avenue. The studio entrance is on North Edwards (there’s a sign in the window so you can find us) with off-street parking in front of the studio and across the street. There is also free street parking.
Cost: $60 (payable at the first class; cash or check, unfortunately we don’t take credit cards)
What to wear: Comfortable and loose fitting clothing. Shoes should be flat and enclose your foot with good support (something like sneakers or low hiking shoes). Bare feet, crocs, flip flops or open toed sandals should be avoided.
